About Avisa
Avisa means ocean. It is a useful way to think about a business: many things moving at once, and the difference between chaos and power is whether they are connected.
Philosophy
Businesses should not have to change how they operate to fit poorly chosen technology.
Most companies already have a system. It is just spread across spreadsheets, WhatsApp groups, email threads, notebooks and the memory of a few experienced people. It works, until it does not: when someone leaves, when volume doubles, when two departments disagree about a number.
The usual answer is to buy software and bend the business around it. We think the technology should bend instead. So we start by mapping how the work already happens, including the exceptions that make it hard, and design outward from that map.
The result is software that people use without being asked to, because it matches what they were already doing, only faster and in one place.
What we combine
Four disciplines, one team, one conversation.
Strategy, design, engineering and automation usually live in four different vendors. Keeping them together is most of why the systems work.
01
Strategy
Which problem to solve first, whether to buy or build, and what a sensible phase one looks like.
02
Design
Screens people can use on the first day, designed around their tasks rather than around database tables.
03
Engineering
Clean data models, documented APIs and code your next developer can read.
04
Automation
The steps a machine should do, removed from people's weeks before anything is digitised.
Working with Avisa
What you can expect.
Direct conversation
You speak with the people doing the work. Questions get answered in the meeting, not relayed a week later.
Working software early
The first useful piece ships in weeks. Feedback comes from use, not from slide decks.
Ownership
Source code, infrastructure and data are yours, documented and handed over.
Honest advice
If an off-the-shelf tool is the right answer, we say so and help you choose it.
What we will not do
- Invent numbers, testimonials or clients we do not have.
- Lock you into a stack, a licence or us.
- Build features nobody asked for because they were easy.

The name
Depth, movement and scale. And beneath the surface, currents that connect everything.

The name and the mark
Ocean, technology and industry in one circle.
The wave is the ocean the name comes from: depth, movement and scale. The circuit trace and its nodes are the technology that carries information. The gear and the machinery are the industry that has to keep running while the technology is introduced.
They form a single ring because that is the point. A business is one system, even when its parts are currently held in different places.
